N-JUSTIN BROWN ACTOR/PRODUCER
From the Grass-field region
(Northwest-Cameroon), precisely from Kom in the Boyo division, is a
multi-talented show biz star by name NCHINI Justin well known as N Justin
Brown. Justin is the fourth out of six progenies from strong and kicking
parents. He started his education in the Southwest region of Cameroon up to the
level of high school where he moved to the Bamenda in the Northwest region of
Cameroon where he obtained his A-level. He then continued in the University of
Bamenda, in the school of ENSET, where he is currently studying Business
marketing.
It
was in 2015 that Justin decided to follow his calling, his passion, to get into
show biz as an actor. While there, he discovered other hidden talents as a
producer and a scriptwriter. The road wasn’t covered with milk and honey, as
he faced difficulties in training, having a perfect schedule that cuts through
school, acting and other personal hustles, and also the issue of lack of
finances. All the above-mentioned hurdles didn’t weigh Justin down. He found a
way to supersede all these downturns.
Justin
has worked on the projects “Nightmares”, “Bed of Thorns” and “Flames of hell”
(to be released). He revealed that the public should be anticipating 2 more
projects coming this year. The movie “Bed of Thorn” was a massive hit as it
received the public price award at the YARHA International Film Festival, and a
number of nominations at the Red Feather Award where it won “Best original
screenplay” and “Best film”. It has gotten over 7 acceptances into film
festivals in and out of Cameroon.
“As challenging as the movie
industry in Cameroon is, it is growing and making Africans proud. But we as
Cameroonians need to accept and support the industry by consuming their
products and stop comparing. We also need the Government’s intervention to get
to the brim” Justin gives his own opinion about the Cameroon Movie Industry.
Most recent the multi-award winning movie BED OF THORNS was accepted into the prestigious AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL in Dallas USA indeed "There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure" thumps up BED OF THORNS
I think a role model is a mentor - someone you see on a daily basis, and you learn from them that is Desmond Whyte, Libota McDonald, Idris Elba, Will Smith and Tyler Perry.
