Noble
Theatre arts entertainment is a movie production house in Bamenda which organizes
a four town premiere of their insightful, hilarious and intriguing movie DARK. The
film will be screened in English and French with bilingual subtitles. The film
features casts Seehofer Roland, Mambo Augusta, Tah Mourine, Njilah Relindis,
Kah Belinda.
Film
praised for bringing forth enlightenment to the unfortunate, impacting and inspiring
a call for community action and investing in the afflicted for sustainable
development.
Dark
talks about a poor orphan that is been rejected by all in the community after
the sudden death of her parents. The only person who happened to take her in as
a slave and money making machine is her step aunt who negates her despite all
the hurts she receives outside (rape, stigmatization, mockery etc.
However,
despite all this torments she still smiles occasionally with her village friend
but as man being on chains while free, she is driven out of the village due to
her family condition.
Nevertheless,
out of the village she finds total hope with the aid of a hunter who gives her
life in his own little way but still receives pain, insults and beatings from
the hunter’s girlfriend after the baby past away. She happens to go through
school with the help of the hunter and comes back to the village where she was
rejected and brings light to the faces of those who were in darkness.
